BJP's state unit in trouble for 'ignoring' Sajjad Lone 5/22/2016 12:28:30 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 21: People's Conference Chairman Sajjad Gani Lone is likely to assume charge as Cabinet Minister very soon as BJP leadership has reportedly accepted all his conditions. More importantly, BJP high command has taken state unit to task for not giving due respect to Sajjad Lone. Credible sources said that central leadership of BJP is annoyed over the way state unit is dealing with Sajjad Lone. Central leadership has given clear message to state unit to solve the issue and pacify Sajjad Lone, who is asset for the party in Kashmir. Credible sources said that Sajjad Lone is set to join the Council of Ministers in PDP-BJP coalition with one more portfolio. Lone, with his new portfolio Social Welfare, ARI and Trainings, had not taken charge of the ministry, would join office soon as he has been allotted Science and Technology portfolio in addition to the existing one. Science and Technology ministry is presently being held by BJP's legislator from Kishtwar Sunil Sharma. He holds the independent charge of Transport ministry.
