Kupwara Eleven register win in 12th Gufran Championship 5/24/2016 11:52:01 PM Early Times Report Doda, May 24: Irfan Ahmed's brilliant batting with 61 runs guides Kupwara Eleven team to registered their win against Royal Strikers (RS) Kolkata by 09 wickets in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 held at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda in collaboration with Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda. Earlier RS Kolkata after winning the toss elected to bat first. While batting, RS Kolkata set a target of 142 runs for the loss of 09 wickets in stipulated 20 overs game. Rishab was the highest scorer from RS Kolkata who scored 55 runs while Balram contributed 22 runs respectively runs for their team. From Kupwara Eleven, Riyaz and Umar Mir take 03 and 02 wickets respectively. In reply, Kupwara Eleven team managed to chase down the stipulated target in 12.4 overs for the loss of 01 wicket.
