Ram Madav slams JU VC for banning ABVP Who got anti-RSS man appointed as VC? 5/25/2016 12:36:31 AM Early Times Report Jammu/New Delhi, May 24: BJP ministers in the cabinet had taken Vice Chancellor of Jammu University, Prof R D Sharma to the task for stifling voice of the student community. It is the rare occasion when all the Cabinet ministers had shown unity while criticizing incumbent Vice Chancellor of Jammu University but there is big question, "Who were the BJP leaders who had managed appointment of Prof R D Sharma as Vice Chancellor of Jammu University?". These days every-one in the BJP and other affiliated organizations were asking each others, who played role in getting Prof R D Sharma appointed as Vice Chancellor despite the fact that there were many other contenders for this post, who have Sangh background. Rejecting candidatures of those Sangh background, some leaders had misguided the whole organization and got anti Sanghi appointed as Vice Chancellor of Jammu University. The leaders who got Sharma appointment as Vice Chancellor, have personal equations with him Meanwhile BJP general secretary Ram Madhav on Tuesday condemned the 'obstinate behavior' of Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Professor R.D Sharma to ban the party's youth wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in all educational institutions in the region and said action would be taken accordingly. "BJP Ministers take up Jammu University vice-chancellor obstinate behaviour against ABVP. Action wl b taken (sic)," Madhav tweeted. The entry of the ABVP has been banned in all educational institutions in the Jammu region. The ban on ABVP comes in the back drop of BJP sharing power with PDP in the state. It is reported that the ABVP had sought permission from Government Women College Prade, Jammu, for holding national executive committee meet, which was out rightly rejected, even though Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Nirmal Singh was the guest for the event. Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP leaders have come at forefront in ABVP`s defence.
