Srinagar, May 25: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and working president of the opposition National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah today skipped the Governor's address on the opening day of the Budget session held at S K International Convention Complex (SKICC)on the bank of Dal Lake here today.Abdullah did not attended the House today, the opening day of the 35-day-long session.He is representing Beerwah constituency in the House from central Kashmir district of Badgam.However, the entire NC members, who were on their toes when the Governor N N Vohra started his address, later walked out from the House, demanding revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), National Food Security Act (NFSA) and other issues. |
