BJP should stop spreading fake propaganda: Dr Manohar
3/21/2019 10:14:59 PM
Early Times Report
BILLAWAR, Mar 21: Hitting out at BJP for running fake propaganda, former minister and president District Congress Committee Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that instead of talking on burning issues like price rise, employment generation, health infrastructure, corruption, farmers' condition, Rafale deal, BJP leadership is busy in befooling the common masses by diverting their attention on other issues such as giving slogans like 'Main Bhi Chowkidaar' and many more.
Dr Sharma while addressing series of public interaction meetings at Lakholi, Badoli, Noni, Majalta, Prangoli, Palai, Pranjali, Pacca Kotha and Talta, criticized local and national leadership of BJP for betraying people of the state. He said lot of money was spent on advertisements under "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" scheme but not even a single penny was spent for education of the girls. DCC President came down heavily on state BJP leadership and PM Narendra Modi for bringing country on back foot due to bad governance and anti-people policies.
He said Modi ji did a lot of "Maan Ki Baat" but he never listened to Maan Ki Baat of unemployed, poor, farmers and daily wagers. Also he said that he feels pain on seeing that Billawar lags far behind on developmental front even when a former DyCM and Union Minister were representing Billawar, both in state as well as parliament.
Manohar Lal Sharma said that Congress is the only party in the country which can provide equal development for all. He requested all to strength the hands of Congress party in upcoming state and parliamentary elections. He further instructed all the party cadre, panches, sarpanches, youth leaders to start a door to door mass movement exposing the bad governance of BJP and work tirelessly and with unity to bring Congress back in power in the state and center adding that people have understood the nefarious designs of BJP and the day is not far when BJP will be routed out of power from the state and the country.
