SRINAGAR, Jul 31: Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi has completed the DNA profile of all the four detained J&K Police officers and begun the cross-checking procedure as it has not matched with the people whose spermatozoa had been found in the vaginal smear of the two young women raped and found killed in Shopian on May 29/30 last.
Informed sources revealed to Early Times that the DNA profiling, which was conducted under orders of a Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir High Court after collecting blood samples of four Police officials, has established in stage one of the producer that none of them was involved in rape-cum-murder of two young women whose death has caused mayhem all over Kashmir valley.

Jammu, July 31: Upon retirement of two IAS officers, BL Nimesh Khalid Habib, the government has given additional charge of the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Special Tribunal to Principal Secretary PHE and Irrigation AK Angurana while Farooq Ahmed Peer, Secretary in the Home Department has been given additional charge of Secretary to Government, Labour and Employment Department.
Until today, BL Nimesh was the Chairman of J&K Special Tribunal and Khalid Habib had the charge of Labour and Employment department. Both IAS officers retired on superannuation today.

Jammu, July 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission today announced the results of 2009 preliminary examination of Combined Competitive Services, popularly known as Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS).
According to detailed result of all aspirants released by the PSC, the cut off mark for eligibility to appear in the Mains examination has been pegged at 208.81. The Commission had declared results of all candidates who appeared on May 23 and 24, except for two roll numbers.
