JAMMU, Dec 14: The continued rains today helped J&K boys secure a point out of the drawn game against Haryana in the Cooch Behar U-16 cricket match played at GGM Science College, here Otherwise in trouble after losing three wickets for 52 runs while chasing 252 runs first lead taken by visiting Haryana side on the third and last day, the inclement weather favoured the host.
Not even a single delivery was bowled throughout the date resulting into the umpires declared the game as drawn match. The draw caused a loss of four points to Haryana as they could get only three points out of the draw game while J&K secured one point. Now, in the remaining two away matches, J&K shall take on Punjab and Delhi.
Earlier, in the first innings, J&K bowled out for 146 runs while Haryana declared their innings at 398 for four.
