Jammu, Dec 19: The Jammu and Kashmir government today warned of a strict action against those found involved in the adulteration of fertilisers and its distribution in the state.
"Law Enforcement Direct-orate has been asked to ensure an intensive checking drive to check adulteration of fertilisers and its distribution in the state," Minister for Agricu-lture, Ghulam Hassan Mir told reporters here. He warned stringent action against any distributor or dealer guilty of adulterating fertilisers.
The Minister further said that only those fertiliser and pesticide brands be allowed in the state which have been recommended by the Government of India and Sher-e-Kashmir Unive-rsity of Agricultural Scie-nces and Technology.
