Jammu, Feb 5: Students of Government MAM (PG) College under the leadership of Lucky Singh today held demonstration against higher education minister and burnt his effigy.
Amid slogans against the minister, Singh alleged that in some of the Government colleges corruption has reached to its pinnacle while the concerned minister in least bothered. He claimed that principals of the colleges like GGM Science College, MAM College, Commerce College, GDC Paloura have distributed colleges canteen to the blue eyed without any tendering process. Singh alleged that principals collect money from the persons who run unauthorized canteens in the college premises. Others who were present included Sandeed Thakur, Jasvinder Singh, Havneet Singh, Mirza, Nitin, Maninder Bali, Sajid Hussain and Gagan. |
