| "Army, IB want to disintegrate Azad Kashmir" | | Some more kamaal from Kamaal | | Early Times Report srinagar, Feb 5: After he was advised to exercise restraint in his statements especially against coalition partners, National Conference Additional General Secretary, Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal today attacked Indian Army and Intelligence Bureau (IB) stating that both of them were meddling in the State politics to disintegrate 'Azad Kashmir' on the pattern of Bangladesh. "Army and IB are repressing the people of Kashmir and they want to enslave people of Kashmir completely. For my bold statements against them, I am being loathed by both these agencies while my party patron Dr Farooq Abdullah even advised me to shut my mouth as he fears that these agencies will not let me breathe freely." Kamaal told Srinagar based News Agency and added that Congress State president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz opposed vehemently for his induction in State Cabinet. Mustafa Kamaal claimed that Army and IB were meddling in State politics without any reason. "Army and IB have a motive behind all this. They want to see complete merger of Kashmir with India," Kamaal said and added that Intelligence Bureau is responsible for all the miseries of Kashmir people. "Jammu and Kashmir is today a headache and a drain on New Delhi's resources only because it was not given a fair deal and the Constitutional arrangement between New Delhi and Srinagar was tampered with," he claimed. Hitting out at Congress High Command and State Congress president, Kamaal said that Soz openly opposed his induction to Cabinet. "How can he like me when I know where does he stand? The aim of Congress party is power and we all know that all is not well in Congress party. So many Congress leaders have been showing resentment openly for not getting berth in Cabinet. They are power mongers and anti-people," he said. "From last 60 years, Congress party in State is exploiting people of Jammu and Kashmir. The destination of Congress has been always the power. Congress leaders are responsible for the miseries of common people and now they are hitting the target by placing gun on the shoulders of National Conference." Kamaal said and further added that the sole aim of forming National Conference was to wipe out injustice and transfer powers from monarchial system to a democratic system but the political treachery and deceit in 1953 by the Government in New Delhi changed things and the people of the State have been suffering not at the hands of Army and Security Agencies but at the hands of Congress Party too. Kamaal said that his party will contest 2014 General Assembly Elections single handedly and it will not seek the support of Congress party in these elections. "Congress can't be our true ally and we are not going to make Congress an ally. Whatever Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has been saying, it might be his personal opinion. Party decisions are not taken by any individual but it is the job of Working Committee," he said. |
