Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 5: BJP activists of Janipur Mandal have taken out a protest march in Rehari colony and burnt the effigy of the coalition government for its anti-people policies.
Leading party activist, BJP Jammu District President Rajesh Gupta, said that the state government has once again been exposed for its anti-people policies taken from time to time. "Recent decision to reduce the scale of Atta and Rice to be released through ration depots is one more blow to the already suffering people of the Jammu. Earlier, 8kg Atta and 5kg rice were released for each member while now it has been brought down" he said.
He said that fixing of Atta to just 20kg per family and rice to just 5kg per family cannot be justified by any mean. "The ration under BPL category is also not provided as per the fixed scale. Delay in releasing ration is yet another problem faced by the consumers. He said that the BJP activists will continue to agitate against the decisions of the government which are anti-people and anti-poor" he added. Janipur Mandal President, Praduman Singh said that ration supplied even at the minimized scale is of sub standard quality. Sometimes the ration released to the depots for the public consumption is not suitable even for animals.
Arun Chhibber, Sanjay Khanna, Gurdyal Singh Bali, Vijay Sharma, Munish Raja, Ajay Vaid, Arvind Gupta, Ramesh Jasrotia, Rajiv Dubey, Gaurav Malhotra, Gaurav Manjotra, Sanjeev Sharma, Purshotam Dogra, Kishore Chand, Onkar Singh, Paras Ram, Bhanu Jasrotia, Karan Sharma, Amrik Singh, Harish Gupta, Jugal Kishore, Rammurti, Raja and others activists were present in protest march.
