| AJKLTF urges Government to fulfill their demands | | | Jammu, Feb 19: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) has urged upon the government to fulfillment of their demands including release of 6th pay commission in two installments, here at Jammu. Addressing media persons, here at Geeta Bhawan on Tuesday, president AJKLTF, Bushan S Verma has sought CM intervention to redress their pending demands. Verma said that federation demanded transparent and concrete transfer policy, implementation of transfers of Female ReT teachers. "It is very unfortunate that posting of 265 elevated in-charge Headmaster cancelled by administrative department without any reasons depriving hundreds of promotes of their monetary benefits and 265 schools shall work headless effecting badly education of children. Whereas principals are being transferred and adjusted city to city" he said. He further said, "The free supply books should be provided in time which never reached in the school before the commencement of session, vis-à-vis the responsibility of mid-day-meal should be given to local bodies to spare teachers for teaching work."
