| If you are a VVIP, you can breach CM's security….? | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 19: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's cavalcade's breach is not a "breach" if it has been done by someone who is in his party..? There was a security breach while Chief Minister's official cavalcade was on move here in the winter capital of the state. "Interestingly", sources in government observed that, "had it been an ordinary person involved in such an incident, there would have been definitely a registration of a case under law." Well, it is him (Chief Minister Omar Abdullah) to decide, whether the question is right or wrong. He (Omar Abdullah) knows better what reply he wants to give to a question posed by Early Times. God forbid. If someone is not well, he/she must be alright but the question here is what concerned police or SSG have taken a cognizance if an ordinary man had done the same act. Today i.e. Tuesday an incident came to fore at Wazarat Road (road leading to official residence of Chief Minister, here in the winter capital of the state), where an "Accent Model" White Car breached the Chief Minister's security. "Though when the vehicle was stopped and inquired by the local police and the officers of Special Security Group (SSG) of the state police, it came to light that a close relative of a Legislator of the ruling National Conference (NC) was not well and a lady relative of NC women Legislator was driving the vehicle. Accidently, the vehicle in question inadvertently came in between the official cavalcade of the Chief Minister," revealed highly placed sources to Early Times. "When the vehicle in question was stopped an inquired by both the sleuths of SSG and local police, it came to fore that the driver and the people in the said Car was in hurry as their close relative was not well and was hospitalized in a Hospital. It was an emergency that they in advertently came in between the CM's cavalcade," shared eyewitnesses to Early Times. All attempts to contact the concerned proved futile. |
