Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 19: Member Parliament Udhampur- Doda constituency Ch Lal Singh convened a public darbar and took stock of the problems being faced by people of several villages. According to press release, the villagers apprised Lal Singh about various problems, mainly the lack of potable water supply in their villages. The people of village Domar, Banhore, Barni and Choee demanded augmentation of the drinking water facility in their villages by installation of hand pump and up gradation of existing Water Supply Schemes (WSS), while residents of village Tridwan demanded early start of work on the WSS proposed for the area. The Panchayat representatives, present on the occasion put forth their problems, mostly related to drinking water, power supply, road connectivity, supply of ration, cases of old aged pension and fresh BPL survey. Ch Lal Singh listened to the demands and problems of the people patiently and assured their redressal on priority basis. |
