KATHUA, Feb 19: Alleging use of sub standard material used in construction of culverts on Nagri road, the activists of Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement (NMFGM) on Tuesday staged protest demonstration outside district Secretariat.
According to a press release, large number of residents of Nagri Parole led by former power minister and founders of Movement Babu Singh staged protest, amid sloganeering against Border Road Organization.
Later, the protesters met DC Kathua Zahida Parveen Khan, who on spot directed Additional DC to inspect the bungling and take action, if someone found guilty.
Speaking on the occasion, Babu Singh lambasted on the BRO authorities for deplorable condition of Nagri road, due to which residents were facing hardships.
Dr. Madhu Sudhan, Tarsem Saini, Sat Paul Verma, Rinku, Gagan also spoke on the occasion. |
