| State Council for S&T organizes awareness camp | | |

RAJOURI, Feb 19: An awareness camp on the topic "Use of Technology in Day Today Life" was organised by DIET Rajouri in Himalyan College Complex Thandi Kassi here today, which was sponsored by State Council for Science and Technology (S&T).
Hundreds of students and teachers participated in the awareness camp. Lectures were delivered by eminent scholars and academicians about the use of technology in various fields of life. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma scientist from Krishi Vgyan Cander SKUAST Rajouri delivered a lecture on use of technology in the field of agriculture with the help of power point presentation.
Rakesh Kumar Sharma Sr. Lecturer Botany delivered a lecture on biotechnology. Prof. Mohammad Saleem Wani of Degree College Budhal also delivered lectures and stressed upon the students to use technology inside and outside the class rooms.
Abdul Raouf Dar, Coordinator of the programme, while speaking on the occasion said that the development of science and technology and its use has changed the whole the world. |
