| BJP gears up for 'Mission 2014' | | | early times report
Jammu, Aug 3: To achieve the set target of registering 10 per cent increase in its votes across the country, the BJP cells in Jammu & Kashmir too are gearing up for the 'Mission 2014.'
In this connection almost 37 cells of the party have been constituted involving people from all walks of life. The introductory meeting of State and District Prabharis of all these cells held at party headquarters on Saturday which was chaired by Cells State Incharge Sat Sharma. BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul also graced the meeting.
Ashok Kaul, while seeking detailed activities of the cells at district and mandal levels, said that mere constituting teams is not enough but the main task begins after the teams are formed. He said that although the party has been getting overwhelming response in the constituencies represented by the opposition parties but it should bring down our efforts if we are really committed to ensure victory for government formation. He expressed hope that the cells will gear up their activities in more effective ways in the coming days.
Sat Sharma while speaking on the significance of different cells, said that the party at the national level has constituted more than three dozen cells with a view to involve more and more people engaged in different sectors and different professions, who have good public standing and expertise in their fields. |
