| Kamaal contemptuously turns down apology demand | | Coalition dharma, NC-style | | Neha Jammu, Aug 3: Which type of coalition dharma the National Conference (NC) is following in Jammu & Kashmir? It is openly abusing and ridiculing the JKPCC chief, Saif-ud-Din Soz, terming him as a "turncoat", accusing him of "stabbing the NC in the back" and telling the people at the same time that it "doesn't want to destabilize the coalition Government in the interest of people". In other words, the NC leadership is saying that it will abuse the Congress president and not come out of the Government, which cannot survive even for a day without the Congress's support. The NC leadership is spewing venom on the JKPCC chief and at the same time patting its back that it is religiously following the coalition dharma. The NC leadership is saying that it hates the Congress from the core of its heart and at the same time saying that it would not severe its relations with the Congress. "It is better to suffer for a year than to part ways with the Congress," it is saying. It's actually that it would use the remaining period for demonizing the JKPCC chief and the Congress and further lowering their position in the eyes of the people. The NC leadership is saying that the "Congress is not a party but a department in Jammu and Kashmir which is run and maintained by New Delhi" and at the same time sharing power with it. The NC leadership is saying that the state Congress leaders are being paid on "monthly basis by New Delhi and the lions share goes into the pockets of Saif-ud-Din Soz for his Chanakyan policies" and at the same time sharing power with it. The NC leadership is charging the JKPCC chief with speaking one language in the open and doing exactly the opposite "behind the curtain" and at the same time accepting him as chairman of the Congress-NC Coordination Committee. "What he speaks in the open, he does contrary to it behind curtains. He should thank NC for providing him platform; otherwise no one would have known him," it has been saying while pouring venom on the JKPCC chief. The NC leadership is condemning the Congress party as "power hungry", terming it as an opportunist outfit and accusing it of "changing colours like chameleon" and at the same time not parting company with the Congress. The "Congress could compromise with any party to grab the chair" and we do not trust this party," the NC leadership is saying. And when the outraged Congress leadership takes an exception to the NC leadership's blistering attack on the JKPCC chief and the Congress and demands an apology from it, its general secretary, who abuses, taunts, insults, humiliates and ridicules the JKPCC chief and the Congress party as a whole on a daily basis, it contemptuously dismisses the demand and further attacks the Congress. This is the coalition dharma the NC is following. If the Congress leadership has any self-respect, it must withdraw its support to the NC to teach it a lesson. |
