| Kewal locals call on Tehsildar, asks action against ration depot holder | | |

Rajouri Aug 3: A deputation of locals from Kewal locals in Budhal tehsil called on Asrar Mir , Tehsildar Budhal and alleged that one government teacher namely Khem Singh who also owns a ration depot in the area has not only failed to provide ration many familes for the last month besides failing to perform his duties at his place of posting Government Primary School at Darman.
They also leveled allegations against Khem Singh, today was allegedly was held by some people at Kotranka when he was negotiating ration related issues with Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO).
Members of a deputation comprising Ranjeet Singh, Baldev Singh, Vijay Kumar demanded action against erring government teacher.
"A deputation of the people met me today and they in a written complaint have leveled allegations against a teacher Khem Singh for being absent from school duties and running a government ration shop at Kewal. After confirmation from concerned ZEO a action will be taken against the teacher" said tehsildar.
He further added instructions have also been issued to the Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) to see the complaint and take appropriate action.
Meanwhile Mohd Rashid, an official in ZEO Office said that Khem Singh is regularly attending the school after the vacations and if there is any complaint against him we will verify it. |
