8/6/2013 10:31:33 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 6: Bhartiya Janta Party State Spokesperson Lalit Kumar Moza criticized the government of violating teachers' transfer policy. In a statement issued, Lalit Kumar Moza said that the teachers are transferred to the convenient places of the basis of their proximity to the powers that be. Some of the personnel of the department are working at one place and posting of their choice and convenience since decades while as some unfortunate persons are suffering having been posted to a very inconvenient place since decades without any further transfer.
He said it is the unfortunate that influential people are appointed against the vacancies available in far-flung areas on the basis of producing proof of belonging to that area and after being appointed get posted to the city or place of their convenience and persons lacking any influence are sent in their place to those far-flung areas. It is high time that the pernicious practice of attaching influential persons with institutes at choice locations is done away with at the earliest.
