Kamaal plays down Congress Ministers' demand
'Act against Kamaal or we stay away from Cabinet'

JAMMU, Aug 6: Mustafa Kamaal has yet again launched a counter offensive against state Congress responding to their threat to boycott meetings of the state cabinet unless he tendered an apology or party took a decisive action against him for issuing abusive statements against Congress leadership.
Taking a strong exception to the Congress rider, NC additional general secretary said that by doing so, Congress ministers were disgracing the faith reposed by their electorate in them and also violating the oath of office that they took in the name of the constitution of India. "Congress has actually been marred by bitter factionalism and inorder to put up a fake united face, they are targeting me" said Kamaal. "Our party has had a long history of relationship with Congress because this a party that has secular credentials and it led the freedom struggle of our country, but we have got only pains in this relationship" he added regretting that Congress started accusing the leaders of the our party who have same position that Nehru or Gandhi have for Congress.
Hinting at a conspiracy to malign his image before the congress high command, Kamaal said that they are targeting me as I have chosen to stop them from making unacceptable statements against our leadership. "There is enough precedent in where politicians have abused each other, but i have not abused anyone, rather they have termed me as insane" said Kamaal adding that Congress ministers need not to take my permission to attend cabinet meetings, but they have to be responsible and accountable to their electorate and their conscience.
