| BJP Kissan Morcha holds convention | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 6: State Working Committee of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Kissan Morcha today held one day convention and discussed burning issues concerning the farming community and the rural areas at Nagbani. BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, BJP Morcha State Incharge Satish Sharma, Morcha State Prabhari Mool Chand Sharma from New Delhi, Morcha State President Karan Singh and MLA Sukhnandan Kumar were the guests present on the occasion. Addressing the meet, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the farmers in the State who are already victims of unfavourable conditions and calamities are suffering more due to the incompetence, indifferent and apathetic attitude of the government, which is indeed very unfortunate. He said that the BJP will continue to fight for the cause of the farmers. Mool Chand Sharma congratulated the state unit of Morcha for being in the fore front for betterment of the farming community and expressed hope that the rural populace will get more closer to BJP Morcha. He assured to raise the voice of farmers at the national level. Ashok Koul, in his address, stressed the point that the party has constituted Kissan Morcha exclusively for the betterment of the farming community as a matter of committed for their welfare and upliftment.
