| YM condemns anti reservation organizations | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 6: Youth Movement has condemned alleged atrocities being committed on "Dalit Samaj" by some organizations which are backed by Varan-Vaivasth and caste system in Jammu and Kashmir. According to press release, president of Youth Movement Sanjeev Verma objected and pointed out that some anti-reservation organizations namely "India Against Reservation" (IAR) and "Arakshan Virodhi Manch" (AVM) have been making shameful and frivolous statements to hold the protest demonstration against reservation on 7th August. "This is not good and not right step of the anti reservation organizations which can nothing extract except the confusion, misunderstanding regarding the historical facts of the Dalit Samaj which is full of discrimination, slave, and hatredness and even present era for the Dalit Samaj is not quite different from passed era of discrimination, atrocities, suppression and caste quoted comments for being inferior by few claimed superior casts", he said. Verma said that it was also a fact that the reservation which was given as per the constitution of India was not a permanent, it was temporary solution as per the need of the time for the up-liftment and development of beneficiaries because the country needed social and economic revolution, until it was not carried. |
