| 26 RR hosts Iftaar party at Gandow | | |

Kishtwar, Aug 6: Sohanda based 26 Rashtriya Rifles organized an "Iftaar Ki Shaan" for the people of Gandow sub division. The event was organized by the unit as a mark of brotherhood, harmony and wishes for blessings of Allah for the region. On the occasion, everyone felt very happy to interact and talk about harmony, good will and peace of the region. People also discussed about joint efforts by Army and Police to prevent rumours and appreciated joint night patrolling being carried out by Army and Police.
Commanding Officer of 26-RR urged upon people to motivate village youths to catch stone throwers so that people can spend night peacefully and promised that all assistance will be extended to make the area peaceful. |
