| ADKPUF condoles demise of KP killed at Jagti | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 6: All Displaced Kashmiri Pandit United Forum (ADKPUF) condoled the demise of KP, killed by assailants at Jagti.
According to press release, a meeting was held under the chairman ship of DN Kissu to condole the demise of Tej Krishen.
The brutal murder of the inmate of Jagti Township was vociferously condemned by one and all and strong appeal was made to the government and administration to bring the culprit to book.
The forum in its meeting lambasted the government for its failure to provide the security cover to the displaced families at Jagti Township where the anti-social elements have the free run.
To add to the woes the inmates at the township are made to suffer insecurity by the deliberate erratic power supply especially during night hours.
In its appeal to the Government the forum asked the administration to provide a police post at Jagti quarters and increase the night vigil by police patrol such that the anti social elements are kept at bay.
It was also fervently appealed to provide the compensation of minimum Rs. 10 lakh to the bereaved family instead of a meager amount of Rs. One lac already sanctioned.
The meeting among others was also attended by Prof. GL Koul (chief Advisor), PL Sudeshi (president), ML Koul, CL Zutshi, CL Koul, advocate Ravinder Raina, Rahul JI, PN Raina Secy. and KL Dhar. |
