| PCC censures Kamaal’s for anti-Cong remarks | | | Et REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 6: Condemning National Conference leader Mustafa Kamaal's abusive utterances against Congress, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) termed the remarks of NC stalwart as unfortunate. In a statement issued here Congress leader and Member PCC Gambhir Dev Singh Charak said that it has been observed that a senior leader of National Conference which is a coalition partner has been indulging himself in making indecent and abusive utterances against Congress Party and its State President Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz which is very unfortunate. He urged upon the NC Supremo Farooq Abdullah, Union Minister and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who is also NC President to direct their party leaders to follow the coalition dharma. These acts or utterances by such a senior leader that too from within the party which is coalition partner in the Government becomes hurdle in the smooth functioning of the coalition government in the State. He further said that such statements by a senior leader put a question mark on his sanity and mental well being. So, he urged upon such leader to concentrate more on public welfare rather than mud-slinging because a leader and especially a senior leader like this is liked by the general public if he is optimistic in his approach and thoughts. |
