Jammu, Aug 23: Castigating the decision of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) providing 600 grams sugar a family, Jammu and Kashmir people’s Democratic Party (JKPDP) leader Vikram Singh warned state as well as Central government not to play with the sentiments of poor public. Addressing media persons, they appealed central government to provide minimum of 10kg of sugar to every family as it was very difficult for a common man to survive in the time of increasing inflation. Singh also demanded a package of compensation to the peoples whose houses were collapsed due to heavy rain as soon as possible. He also demanded a package for farmers who lost their crop besides laying of crates and protection walls so that water of Tawi river didn't enter in the houses. |
