Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 23: Lambasting National Conference leader Davinder Singh Rana for accusing BJP for getting dictation from Nagpur, senior Bhartiya Janata Party leader Ashok Khajuria Friday said that at least BJP does not get dictation from Pakistan. "What Jai Chand did to India, Rana is doing it for Jammu and Kashmir. His party and its coalition partner, Congress know it well that they cannot make it in coming Assembly Elections. NC has started spreading hatred and playing communal politics," Khajuria said adding that Rana should refrain from issue baseless statements. He said that it was National Conference that disrupted peace in Kishtwar. "This party did it for petty benefits and now its leaders claim that they played a key role in bringing Kishtwar back on track," he said adding that people of Kishtwar are fully aware about the dirty politics that was played by NC there. "It is baseless that BJP forced Hindu traders to lock their shops. These traders are doing it at will and there is no role of BJP in it. Why should BJP direct people not to open shops and why should we instigate people for violence," Khajuria said. Replying a question, Khajuria said that BJP leader Sunil Sharma is innocent and the Government is trying to malign the image of BJP by raising fingers over him. "We warn the Government that if Sharma is arrested, BJP would not tolerate this. His arrest would add fuel to fire and Government would be wholly and solely responsible for the consequences," he said. He further said that barring two percent population of surrendered militants in Kishtwar, people in general there want peace and believe in communal harmony. |
