HYDERABAD, Aug 23: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), is organizing its 5th Convocation on 24th Aug. 2013 at Global Peace Auditorium.
Dr. M. M. Pallam Raju, Union Minister for HRD, will be the Chief Guest while Dr. Syeda Saiyidain Hameed, Chancellor of Urdu University will preside over the convocation. Prof. Mohammad Miyan, Vice-Chancellor will deliver the welcome address. Eminent Jurist Justice Rajendar Sachar (Chairman of Sachar Committee) and popular Hindi fim star Aamir Khan will be conferred Honoris Causa (Doctorate) on the occasion.
Pass out students of regular courses in 2011 and 2012 will receive Degrees and Gold Medals. Students of Distance Mode of 2011 and 2012 academic year will be awarded only Gold Medals during the convocation.
Their degrees will be sent subsequently by post. Transport facility for students from MANUU Campus to the venue is being arranged. Buses will ply between MANUU and Global Peace Auditorium from 8 am onwards. |
