UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Udhampur, Ajay Singh Jamwal today visited various Panchayats of Block Chenani to access the pace and status of development projects being executed by the various agencies. Jamwal during his tour visited Bain, Bast, Katwal and Gandwal and gave necessary instruction to the officers of the concerned departments to keep proper monitoring and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the construction works. He also asked the concerned officers of Rural Development and Works departments to accelerate the tempo of construction works taken in hand so that their completion would be ensured in a stipulated time frame. The ADDC also visited Community Health Center, Chenani being executed by JKPCC to take stock of ongoing construction work of the Health Center besides he inspected various works being executed by the municipal committee. Jamwal also interacted with the concerned sarpanchs, local people and\ NRLM PRPs of the panchayats during his tour. ADDC was accompanied by Deputy Director Planning, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Chenani, Engineers of Executing Agencies, Block Development Officer Chenani and other field staff. |
