JAMMU, August 26: To seek first hand information about the arrangements and facilities being extended to the trainees, the Director General, Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Navin Agarwal today paid surprise visits to ongoing coaching camps at Youth Hostel Nagrota and MA Stadium, here.
Accompanied by the District Officer, Tirath Ram, DG inquired about the boarding and lodging of the players, especially those who belong to districts other than Jammu. At present the Department is holding cricket camp for under-14 boys at MA Stadium and volleyball (under-14 boys and girls) at Youth Hostel Nagrota.
At Nagotra, the DG issued on the spot instructions for immediate repair of the hostel and also assured the Warden of improved facilities at his disposal. |
