Spartan Academy, Rajasthan Club win in T20

Jammu, Aug 26: Separtan Cricket Academy Delhi and Rajasthan Cricket Club trounce JD Boys Cricket Club Kolkata and Merut Cricket Club in the ongoing All India 1st Jammu Kashmir Friendship T-20 Cricket Championship 2013 for Peace on Monday being played at Sports Stadium Jammu University, Jammu which was organized by Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda.
The first match was played between Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi and JD Boys Cricket Club Calcutta. Batting first after winning the toss, Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi scored a total of 131 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Anil was the highest scorer who scored 59 runs while Akshay Koul contributed 22 runs for his team. From
D Boys Cricket Club kolkata,Rajesh Jha and Firoz took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, D Boys Cricket Club kolkata could not chase the target and only reach to 121 runs.
Shoiab Alam was the highest scorer who scored 26 runs while Sumit Dass contributed 21 runs for the team. From Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi, Anil and Khurshid took 02 and 01 wicket.
Later on Anil of Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi was declared as Man of the Match for his best Batting performance.
Whereas, the second match was played between
Rajasthan Cricket Club and Merut Cricket Club. Batting first after winning the toss, Merut Cricket club scored a total of 72 runs by loosing of all wickets in 16 overs..Ankit was the highest scorer who scored 8 runs while Chetan contributed 7 runs for his team. Rajasthan Cricket Club , Sandeep and Kenan took 4 and 3 wickets respectively. In reply, Rajasthan Cricket Club Chase The Target in 6 overs. Mohit was the highest scorer from Rajasthan Cricket Club who scored 27 runs followed by Kenan who contributed 8 runs for his team.
Later on Sandeep of Rajasthan Cricket Club was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
Mohd Rafi and Rajinder acted as umpire while yasir dar was official Scorer.
Man of the match awards for the best performance was given by Chief Guest,Registrar Jammu University Prof.Manoj K Dhar and Guest of Honour Vinay Thusoo.
