Kishtwar violence was preplanned: BJP
8/26/2013 11:07:30 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 26: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive Member and Leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria had called a meeting of the office bearers of the Jammu East district to discuss the political fallout of Kishtwar communal violence and arrangements for the forthcoming visit of the Nation President Raj Nath Singh.
Ashok Khajuria, while addressing the party veterans said that the recent communal violence unleashed by miscreant and anti-social elements of majority community in Kishtwar district has posed that grave threat to the fabric of the state.
"The violence was preplanned as is revealed by the appearance of posters of anti-national figures of valley, Pakistani flags and insidiously working by these anti-national miscreants for creating alarm and uncertainty in minds of the minority community prior to the happenings on the eve of Eid," he said.
He further said that when these facts are considered in juxtaposition with the crescendo of demand arising from the valley for disbanding of VDCs, one is driven to conclude that these entire events were not isolated but there was a design behind these and that was to effect change the demographic character of Kishtwar on Kashmir pattern.
Those who were present on the occasion included Trilochan, Mnumanav Mahajan, Surinder Anand, Pardeep Sharma, Arun Sethi, Vivek, Vikas, Bawa Sharma, Rakesh Mishra, Ajesh, Jagjeevan, Ram Nivas Aggarwal, Sanjeev Sharma, Munish, Kulbushan Vohra and Bishamber.
