JAMMU, Aug 26: A meeting of workers of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) was organized by District President (Rural) PDP, Suram Singh Chib at Raipur Domana here today.
While addressing the workers, Suram Singh Chib, called upon the party workers to be ready for the Assembly and Parliamentary elections which are going to be held anytime in the near future.
He asked Block Level presidents to activate themselves and carry the message of good governance of PDP to the general public.
Enroll good number of honest and hard working youths and strengthen the party at grass root level. Referring to heavy damages caused to crops, houses of people in Marh area in the recent incessant rains and flood, Chib demanded the government to depute survey teams to assess the loss suffered by the people and provide adequate compensation to sufferers.
Addressing the gathering, Block president Vikram Singh highlighted that people are badly suffering due to erratic water supply electricity supplies and demanded authorities concerned to mitigate the sufferings of people at the earliest. |
