| PPEU holds meeting, condemns violation of SRO 343 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Aug 26 : Expressing its strong resentment over the transfer/adjustment of state cadre clerical staff on the divisional/district cadre posts, the Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) has condemned the blatant violation of SRO-343 of 2004 and Circular No 48 GAD of 2009 dated 23-11-2009 by the higher ups. In a meeting of the PPEU held in M&RE Sub Division, Kathua under the chairmanship of its Provincial President Shakti Gupta, the members said that despite Union's reservations over the transfers/ adjustments of such nature, the higher authorities went ahead with this practice. On the occasion, Provincial Senior Vice President, Madan Gopal Gupta asked the higher authorities to call back those state cadre employees, who working on the Divisional cadre posts within one month otherwise the union shall be forced to adopt the agitational path against such practices. |
