| Protest against sarpanch continues at BDO office Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Aug 27 : Demanding action against earring Sarpanch, who allegedly thrashed section officer, the strike of employees of BDO office Kathua remained continue on second day on Tuesday.
The employees of BDO office Kathua accompanied by Sarpanches today demanding action against Sarpanch Dalip Chand of Panchayat Chack Desa held protest in the premises of the BDO Block Kathua.
The protestors alleging that Sarpanch of Panchayat Chack Desa Singh has thrashed Section Officer of the department in his officer chamber two days back in BDO Block Kathua is still out of reach of police while a complaint was registered against him under section 353 and 382 for manhandling with a government employee and snatching of official papers.
Today the Village Level Workers Association has also come in support of employees by joining their protest and criticized the unconstitutional act of the sarpanch.
Speaking on the occasion the Vice President of Association O.D Atri and its general secretary Rajesh Kumar also warned that they would continue strike till the sarpanch is arrested.
However, BDO Kathua Anirudh Sharma and DPO Chand Kishor also criticized the action and said that any type of misbehave and Manhandling would not be accepted and the sarpanch has done serious offence for which he has to be asked. |
