One yr RI to two brothers for attacking Step-sister 8/27/2013 11:09:57 PM Et Report Jammu, Aug 27 : CJM Jammu SR Gandhi today awarded one year rigorous imprisonment to Shesh Kumar alias Pinky and Moti Lal both real brothers who were facing trial in attack on one Pappu Devi who was her step-sister of his father on land dispute. According to the police case that on February 28, 2005 few months back court decided the land case in her favour but complainant not allowing her to possess the land. On its basis accused keeps an old enmity with her and her daughter Papu Devi. On the day of occurrence when she along with her daughter was working in the land accused came there with the intention to kill her trespassed in her land and inflicted her daughter with a blow on head of her daughter. On this police registered a case. CJM Jammu SR Gandhi after hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli with Senior PO Rajeshwar Basotra appearing for the state observed that prosecution has proved the offences u/s 342 and 324 RPC and they were awarded one year rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 1000/-.
