Jammu, Aug 27 (JNF) : In a letter written to Chief Justice of J&K High Court by General Public of Jeevan Nagar and others for desilting and cleaning of Nallah (lundi Chaoi) between Jeevan nagar and Narwal Pain treated as Public Interest Litigation and listed before the Division Bench.Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat after gone through the letter which was treated as PIL arrayed Chief Executive Officer Cantonment Board and Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation as respondent and issued notice to both of them returnable within two weeks. In the letter it has been mentioned that a nallah is flowing via Shastri Nagar towards Jeevan Nagar and Narwal Pain which was constructed through ERA few years back and this nallah was not desilted nor cleaned and was a great threat to residence of Public at large who are residing on ether side of Nallah and seeking appropriate direction to State.
