2 women among 4 injured in road accident

KISHTWAR, Oct 12: In another head-on collision incident on Kishtwar road, two women among four persons were injured when an Alto vehicle bearing Registration No: JK17-1045 collided with a motorcycle No JK06-24 at Malipath Kishtwar.
As per the reports, the accident took place near Post Office Kishtwar when the driver of an Alto vehicle was changing the direction of his vehicle towards adjacent link road and was hit by a motorcycle coming in opposite direction.
The report added that the impact of the collision was so strong that both the vehicles suffered massive damages as a result of which the two bikers suffered injuries, beside the two women who were walking on the road side also came under the impact of the motorcycle and got injured.
As soon as the accident took place, large number of people assembled at accidental site and shifted all the four injured to District Hospital Kishtwar from where one critically injured youth identified as Faisal Khan (23 yrs) son of Masood Khan resident of Hudri Kishtwar was referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advance treatment.
The other injured who are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar are identified as Raiza Begum (32 yrs) wife of Sajjad Hussain, Shahida Begum (27 yrs) wife of Nissar Ahmed both resident of Bugrana Sarthal and Rayees Ahmed (17 yrs) son of Shabir Ahmed Sheikh resident of Hudri Kishtwar.
This is the 2nd case of head-on collision on this road in less than one week. Police has registered the case and started its investigation.
