BJP warns agitation from Monday, demands release of youth

JAMMU ,Oct 12 : BJP today warned that if the three arrested members of Ramlila Committee Rajouri were not released by this evening party will launch an agitation from Monday. Announcing this at a press conference were today along party National Executive member and state Chief spokesperson Dr. Jitendra Singh BJP State President urged the Government to release all the arrested youth of minority community by this evening failing which party will launch agitation from Monday. Jugal while accusing the district administration Rajouri for the episode said the administration worked in a partisan manner.
He said the miscreants responsible for Rajouri violence are moving freely whiloe three innocent members of minority community were arrested. He reiterated his demand for arrest of miscreants and registration of cases against them. Jugal said BJP will not allow administration to act in a partisan manner. Reiterating his allegations that under a conspiracy minorities are being harassed and forced to flee from Rajouri also,Jugal said BJP with full might will frustrate the designs of vested elements. He said it is unfortunate that episode took place during the festival season when minorities were celebrating the Navratra festival and Dushera. He said tomorrow being Dushera and in case youth wre not freed on the occasion of festival BJP will launch agitation from Monday. It may be recalled that Police foiled BJP's Rajouri march yesterday by arresting senior party leaders and over 200 party activists at different places on way to Rajouri. They were freed late in the evening. BJP had given Rajouri March call yesterday to protest against Government action. Meanwhile according to reliable sources the administration has agreed to free the arrested youth by late tonight. Sources said an understanding has been reached between leaders of various Hindu Organization and administration in which it was agreed that all the arrested youth will be released by late tonight.
