Rajbagh locals demand upkeep of GGMS

KATHUA, Oct 12: Expressing concerns over the dilapidated condition of Govt Girls Middle School (GGMS) Raj Bagh, locals have demanded maintenance of the school building at earliest.
Sarpanch Panchayat Hardo-Muthi Surjit Singh told that this Govt Girls Middle School Rajbag (Ujh) falls in Panchayat Hardo-Muthi and was established in 1956 as primary and later was upgraded as Girls Middle School in 1962 but the condition of the school has become so dilapidated lacking due maintenance. Further alleging there is no security of girls in the school, Sarpanch and others said the building is not fenced, and is without a peon. The Sarpanch and locals have urged the state government and higher education authorities to intervene and take precautionary measures for its maintenance students may not suffer any more.
