Early Times Report KATHUA, Oct 12: Jammu and Kashmir Loktantrik Party said that workers of Congress party from Billawar constituency village Mala Dhaloti joined the JKLP "indicating disillusionment of people with the present dispensation in the state." The state president Sazad Bhatt, Ranjeet Singh chairman, Ravail Singh gen. secy. met the villagers and heard the problems of Mala Dhaloti villagers. The locals apprised him about their grievances, said a party handout. While assuring them of taking up the issues with concerned officials, they apprised them about the "people friendly policies of his party." During his visit to constituency, prominent Congress workers Arun Kumar, Parveen Kumar, Des Raj, Veena Devi, Shiv Kumar, Bholi Devi, Mamta Rani, Ganga Ram, Bishan Dass, Pritam Dass , Sham Lal, Shashi Bala and Pallavi Baboria joined the JKLP. Welcoming all, Sazad Bhatt said: "The idea of change is getting strengthened in the state with large number of people, especially youth, joining JKLP." "Workers joining JKLP from the ruling party, is a clear indication of strong resentment against the present dispensation," the JKLP leader said. |
