| Research Training Programme held at MIER | | | ET REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: A research training programme was held at MIER College of Education. The programme was organized by Centre of Educational Research in collaboration with H.R.Department. The resource person on the occasion was Dr. H.R.Shan, Head research wing MIER. Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER chaired the session which was attended by all the faculty members of the college.
The formal welcome address was given by A.K. Koul,Group Head-HR and QA, MIER.
Resource person Dr. Shan oriented the participants about the meaning of a project activity, the steps involved in writing a research proposal. He elaborated upon the methodology used in preparing a research proposal. He also acquainted the participants about the thrust areas for research as well as the funding agencies which finance minor as well as major research projects. The orientation was followed by a question answer session. Dr. B.L. Raina, HOD M.Ed Wing formally thanked the resource person and other guests.
Dr. Renu Gupta appreciated the initiative taken by CER and H.R. Deptt. for training the staff to take up research projects for their professional development. |
