early times report Jammu, Oct 17: Career Abacus, a leading Abacus Teaching Institute organized painting competition at Shiksha Niketan High school, Gandhi Nagar , Jammu with an objective to hone the latent skills of the students. Spokesperson said that over 150 students from 1st to 7th of the school participated in the painting competition in three different categories viz. Sub-junior, Junior and Senior and their topics were any cartoon character, Landscape and Environment respectively. "The result of the competition will be declared later on , he added. Arvind Sharma, Director of the Institute stated that these competitions are being held in all the schools of J&K as per the convenience of the schools to bring out the hidden talent of the children and such competitions have been held in more than 17 schools. He also informed that participation is completely free as many students may not participate if there would be any fee. The competition was coordinated by Incharge Shiksha Niketan - Kiran Gupta, Coordinator - Rajni, Art Teacher - Shipra and Usha for smooth conduct of the contest while Divya (Coordinator) and Akanksha of Career Abacus were also present on the occasion. |
