Jammu, Oct 17: Congress party workers of Panchayat Makwal organized a meeting in village Makwal. The meeting was addressed by Indu Pawar MLA president Mahila Congress J&K. Pawar in her address related the good work done by Congress in the country after Independence, it might be related to development of country through Five year Plans, education for all, employment guarantee, right to Indian citizens, nationalization of banks for better economic development, attaining self sufficiency in food and maintaining communal harmony and equal opportunity to all above caste creed or religion.
Congress was always in forefront for taking welfare steps and the leaders like Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Shastri, Rajiv, Manmohan Singh and Sonia have always stood the list of time.
Unity of our workers, internal discussion of problems and workers at grass root level in village and country side are our strength & our party is working sincerely to leave no stone unturned in solving problems of every section of our society, she said.
Our leaders Sonia, Rahul, Soz are working selflessly and party will do better under their guidance. We the workers have to make all efforts to make their plans successful, sheappealed and added that every Congress worker should make himself aware of welfare schemes of the party and pursue its implementation with local machinery of the govt in peaceful manner. She assured workers to get their genuine grievances addressed by Govt machinery.
