| HC directs Education Department to take final decision by Oct 28 | | Petition over qualification of 40 lecturers | | Early Times Report jammu, Oct 17: In two petitions challenging the qualification of more than forty Incharge Lecturers who were adjusted in School Education Dept, Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur of State High Court directed the State respondents in regard to those whose information(about qualification) has already been received by the official respondents, pertaining degrees in their possession, the official respondents shall take decision positively by or before October 28 and asked to place copy of the decision before the Court on October 28, failing which commissioner/secretary to Education Dept shall remain present in person. After hearing Senior Advocate BS Salathia with Adv Ashish Sharma appearing for the petitioners whereas Additional Advocate General Seema Shekhar appeared for the education dept, Senior Advocate Surinder Kour assisted by Adv Davinderpreet Kour appearing for the private respondents, Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur of State High Court directed the State respondents in regard to those whose information (about qualification) has already been received by the official respondents, pertaining degrees in their possession, the official respondents shall take decision positively by or before October 28 and asked to place copy of the decision before the Court on October 28, failing which commissioner/secretary to Education Dept shall remain present in person.
