UDHAMPUR, Oct 17: The road construction work taken up by AFCON company, which is erecting a huge wall at point no 14, has damaged paddy crop of the villagers of Thali in Udhampur.
The villagers, who have suffered loss of their crop, said that during the construction of the wall, big heaps of clay and heavy stones have accumulated on their field thereby damaging the cultivated land.
Moreover, the stone and clay has also blocked the smooth flow of the brooklet which also resulted into the damages to the paddy crops spread over several kanals. |
