| Installation of Shiv Lingam held | | |

Srinagar, Oct 17: Installation of holy Shiv Lingam (Shiv Abhishek) was performed at the ancient holy spring in Durga Nag temple premises here on the occasion of Ram Navmi and Dussehra as per traditional vedic rituals.
It is pertinent to mention here that the sanctum sanctorium of the holy spring with original arcs is about 700 hundred years old and was discovered recently by the devotees of Shree Mata Durga Nag Sewa Dal.
The renovation work of the shrine was started by the trustees and supervised under the guideance of Prof. Satish Raina president Valley Mandir Prabandhak Committee. The team of trustees in presence of prominent personalities and large number of devotees performed the puja and satsang. |
