| NHAI, Kathua admn urged for due repairs at Kalibari Chowk | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 17: Locals in Kathua town have demanded due precautionary measures at Kalibari Chowk at National Highway Kathua which is not only suffering traffic congestion but also is posing dangers of fatal accidents. Ravi Salaria, Sanjeev Kumar, and Ghanshyma Lal while expressing their resentment against the administration and National Highway Authority of India for keeping the poor maintenance of the road pin pointed that this pot hole has been formed since long and is making vehicles passing on the road vulnerable to mishap. Locals appealed NHAI to take steps to fill the said pit in order to avert risks and traffic congestion problems at Kalibari Chowk, National Highway Kathua. In their appeal the locals said that the NHAI and district administration need not shift responsibilities instead they should try to find a mid way to develop infrastructure for the welfare of people however till date both seemingly appeared to have been insensitive and irresponsible towards this depleted condition of the national highway. |
