| ABVP supports paramedical students demand, blocks College Road | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 17: Expressing solidarity with protesting paramedical students, Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishd (ABVP) Kathua unit joined their stir and staged protest with them against shifting of examinations centers for 'paramedical examination' to Jammu. Led by ABVP state leader Rahul Dev Sharma, the ABVP activists and paramedical students staged protest at College Road and blocked the road to register their resentment against the concerned authorities. Amid sloganeering, these students cautioned if the examination centers of their final exams are not shifted to Kathua they will block the national highway on Friday. Speaking on the occasion Rahul Dev Sharma said the wrong policies of state government are aimed to harass the students whenever the exams are at hand. He said that the demand of shifting examination centers to Kathua is very much genuine and ABVP will give full support to paramedical students. Pawan Kumar, Neeraj Sharma, Rita Devi, Priyanka while addressing the protestors said that shifting of centers to Jammu has not only burdened the poor students economically but also will consume their precious examination time. |
